GCEF approves a whopping $20,000 in grants

November is typically a time where we all reflect on what we are thankful for. The GCEF board is thankful that we were able to approve $20,000 in grants during our November meeting to help fund spring 2017 programs. We are thankful for the support of GUFS families and community members. It is through your generous contributions that we can provide Garrison children with these exceptionally fun, smart opportunities.

Here is a quick overview of the programs that were just funded. There are several grants that GCEF has supported in the past and continues to support. Some of those include Percussion Ensemble, Clearwater Sail, Living History and Garrison Art Center experience for every grade. We also had the opportunity to approve many new programs including Modern Band Ensemble, Maker Space Program and NY Hall of Science Trip.
