Congratulations Second Graders!
The final tally for the Fall Appeal classroom competition is in! With outstanding results, our two second grade classes swept the pizza prize. Mrs. Greene’s class came in first with 81% participation and Mrs. Rastelli’s class came in second with 73% participation. GCEF will work with both teachers to find a time that works best for a celebratory pizza party. Congratulations! The benefits of school gardens

Your contributions allow us to continue to support and grow the Hudson Valley Seed program at GUFS. This school year the program expanded to include all GUFS students K-5th. As of yesterday's tabulations, Ms. Timmons' class, you are in the lead! Keep an eye out for our updates (this flyer is in Mr. John's update to parents this afternoon). But these numbers change VERY quickly ... next update on Monday! Every gift counts toward the classroom participation tally! Imagination Playground Arrived!
Ask your kids about it! Imagination Playground was outside today at recess and we hear the kids LOVED it. We are so thrilled to be able help bring this architectural set to GUFS. Imagination Playground is just one of the many innovative programs we've funded this school year. More photos to come!

GCEF is everywhere this month (it even appeared during bath time!)
